We take the safety of our Patients and Staff Seriously
We have implemented and upheld high safety standards to protect our staff and patients. We have not faltered since the beginning of this pandemic and we have only increased measures to ensure your safety. That being said, with a 2nd wave, we are confident that we can continue to uphold these high safety standards and add additional provisions.
To Keep You Safe, here is what we are currently doing:
-
Screening all patients prior to their appointment, using an emailed form that is sent to ALL patients 2 hours before their appointment; and is mandatory to complete prior to their visit.
-
Anyone that is sick is asked to reschedule their appointment after receiving a negative Covid Test, or 2 weeks after symptoms have seized.
-
Scheduling is such, as to reduce overcrowding and waiting times.
-
Accompanying visitors are not permitted, unless required as a guardian.
-
All personal items are left in the car.
-
ALL staff are screened and recorded prior to starting their shift.
-
Cleaning and sanitizing of the clinic throughout the day, before and after each patient will continue.
-
Everyone in the clinic is wearing a face cover, both staff and patients (MANDATORY).
-
Staff will continue to be washing and sanitizing their hands for your safety.
-
All patients are asked to sanitize their hands before and after their appointment.
-
Outdoor shoes are removed before entering in the clinic.
-
Lots of signage for you to know where to go and what to do.
Please take note of some additional provisions, due to the Stay-at-home order for the Province of Ontario:
-
Reception areas will be closed; please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment; call and let us know you are here, or check-in online. We will call you when we are ready to see you.
-
Washrooms will be closed; please use the washroom before arriving to the clinic.
-
Contactless billing: you will be encouraged to have a credit card on file, so contactless billing through Jane Payments can be issued to protect you and our staff.
So, as you can see, we are already taking the necessary steps to keep you and our staff safe and to ensure there is not interruption to your care should there be a sudden spike in numbers in the World.
